Goods live in a location, not "the warehouse"
Stock is always the stock of a LOCATION. A picker does not search — they walk to the spot. And if it is empty, that gets recorded against that exact spot.

Every movement leaves a trace
Who, when, from where, to where, how much. Ledger rows never change or disappear; a correction is an opposite entry. "Where did that stock go?" still has an answer a year later.

A route, not a list
The system works out the order in which to walk the racks. The picker neither chooses nor searches — they go through in one direction, and the list never reorders itself halfway.
Picking
A handheld that survives the racks
Same app, different view: big buttons, high contrast, one task at a time.
- Three ways to scan — a Zebra hardware scanner, a phone camera, or typing it in. A worn label does not stop the picker.
- Location confirmed before picking. The wrong rack is stopped there and then, not corrected after a customer complains.
- "Not there" is a button, not an error. Shortfalls are daily life in a warehouse, and they show exactly where the stock figure is wrong.
- Bundles expand into components. The parts are what sit on the shelf; a bundle counts as picked only when all of them are together.

Features
A whole warehouse day, in one place
Warehouse layout
Warehouses, racks and locations. Rack locations are generated in one go — six bays and four levels is twenty-four locations with one click.
Products and barcodes
One product can carry several codes: the maker’s, the shop’s, the case’s. A case code adds twelve units on a pick, not one.
Orders and waves
Several orders at once, grouped by trip. Everything needed is taken from a location in a single visit — in a large warehouse that is a difference in multiples.
Stocktaking
A whole warehouse, or one rack as you go. The system quantity is frozen when counting starts, so the variance is what the counter actually saw.
Dispatch and labels
Picked goods sit in the packing area, not in limbo. They leave stock only when the courier takes the parcel.

The warehouse runs in a browser with nothing to install. The installable versions are for two different jobs: the warehouse manager at a desk and the picker between the shelves.
Movira Warehouse for Windows

- The content comes from the server: updates arrive without a new installer.
- Signing in stays in the window; outside links open in the browser.

Movira Handheld for Zebra devices
2.6 MB · Android 7+A handheld app that opens straight into picking. All the picking logic lives on the web — the APK is only a shell.
- Barcodes arrive as a DataWedge intent, not as keystrokes: the code does not depend on where the focus happens to be.
- The DataWedge profile is configured on launch, so no device has to be set up by hand.
- Kiosk: on an MDM-managed device the picker cannot leave the app.
- It survives a short outage — the entry stays on the device and is sent when coverage returns.
Windows will show a warning
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows says "unknown publisher". Press "More info" and then "Run anyway". We say this up front: without a heads-up that message looks like malware, and reasonably so.
The APK does not come from Play
A handheld is not a phone somebody browses a store on: the device belongs to the company and the app gets there through MDM (StageNow, Android Enterprise) or by side-loading. That is why the APK is signed with a development key, and installing it requires allowing installation from unknown sources on the device.

Integrations
Build your own connections
Everything the app does in the browser can also be done through the API. The documentation is public and always describes the version that is actually running.
Open documentation
The OpenAPI description opens in your browser: every endpoint with its fields, an example request and the response. The machine-readable form sits next to it at /api/docs-json, which most code generators can turn into a client for you.

You create the key in the app, under account settings. The secret is shown ONCE — only a hash is stored, so a lost key cannot be read back afterwards by anyone, ourselves included.
- Authorization: Bearer mvk_…
- X-Api-Key: mvk_…
Two forms, so the key also fits tools that consume the Bearer header themselves.
- A key carries the rights of whoever created it: narrow the role and the key narrows with it.
- Each key can be revoked on its own, without breaking the other connections.
- There is no password login for the API. That is deliberate: a password would end up in a config file, and two-step verification would break the integration.
